Lifting Appointed Person (AP) - Peterborough Job Title: Lifting Appointed Person (AP) Location: Peterborough Start Date: 9 November 2026 Contract Length: 6 weeks - through to Christmas Rate: Competitive / Negotiable DOE Payment: CIS route available We're currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Lifting Appointed Person (AP) to support a major bridge construction project in Peterborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and overseeing complex lifting operations associated with bridge construction, working closely with the site and engineering teams to ensure all lifting activities are carried out safely and efficiently. Key Requirements ·Proven experience working as a Lifting Appointed Person ·Strong bridge construction experience preferred ·Experience planning and overseeing complex lifting operations ·Confident producing and reviewing lift plans, methodologies and lifting sequences ·Strong understanding of lifting regulations and site safety requirements ·Relevant AP qualifications/certifications Due to the nature of the works, previous experience on bridge or major infrastructure projects would be highly advantageous.
