Support Worker

About the Role As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to individuals who may have a range of support needs. Your role will vary depending on the service, but may include: * Providing practical, emotional and social support to service users. * Supporting individuals with daily living activities and promoting independence. * Developing positive and respectful relationships with the people you support. * Supporting individuals to access community activities, appointments and social opportunities. * Following individual support plans and maintaining accurate records. * Working alongside colleagues and other professionals to provide high-quality support. * Promoting dignity, choice, inclusion and independence at all times. * Following safeguarding, health and safety and organisational policies. What We're Looking For You must have previous experience working as a Support Worker or within a care setting. We are looking for candidates who are: * Compassionate, patient and understanding. * Reliable and committed to providing high-quality support. * Confident working both independently and as part of a team. * Respectful of individual choices, dignity and confidentiality. * Able to communicate effectively with service users, families and colleagues. * Flexible and willing to work across a range of shifts, depending on the service.
