Climate17 is supporting a leading international renewable energy business with the appointment of a Senior Sales Manager to drive the growth of its Asset Management services.


This is a high-impact commercial role focused on winning new business across utility-scale Solar PV, BESS, Wind and wider renewable energy infrastructure markets.


The business already supports a substantial operational portfolio across multiple technologies and is looking for someone who can leverage existing industry relationships and sector knowledge to accelerate growth further.


This is very much a “hunter” role rather than account management - suited to someone comfortable leading complex B2B sales processes, developing strategic client relationships and converting opportunities within the renewable energy owner/operator and investment community.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute regional sales and growth strategy
  • Drive new business across renewable energy asset management services
  • Lead complex tenders, bids and commercial negotiations
  • Build senior relationships across the renewable energy sector
  • Support and coordinate regional sales activity
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across wider technical and operational services
  • Represent the business at industry events and conferences


Requirements


  • Strong experience selling services within the renewable energy sector
  • Existing network across wind, solar and/or BESS markets
  • Background within asset management, O&M, technical xwzovoh services, energy consultancy or related areas
  • Proven ability to win and develop strategic client relationships
  • Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles and tenders
  • Strong commercial, communication and stakeholder management skills
