Construction Project Manager – High-End Residential Interiors | London

Gallery Interiors is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-end residential refurbishment and interior projects across London.
This is a key delivery role suited to someone with a strong background in prime residential construction, luxury refurbishment, bespoke interiors and complex fit-out projects. You will take responsibility for projects from pre-construction and mobilisation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently and to an exceptional standard.
You will be expected to take ownership of programme, procurement, subcontractor coordination, client communication, quality, commercial awareness and day-to-day site delivery. The role requires someone who can manage multiple workstreams, anticipate issues before they affect programme and maintain control of both detail and overall project performance.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing projects from pre-construction through to practical completion
- Developing and maintaining project programmes
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and internal teams
- Managing procurement schedules and long-lead items
- Monitoring progress against programme and budget
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality control
- Managing client and consultant relationships
- Chairing and contributing to progress meetings
- Identifying project risks, delays and dependencies
- Ensuring health, safety and statutory requirements are maintained
- Overseeing snagging, handover and close-out
- Providing clear and regular reporting to senior management
The successful candidate will need:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within high-end residential, luxury interiors or prime refurbishment
- Strong technical understanding of residential construction and fit-out
- Experience managing bespoke joinery, stone, specialist finishes, M&E and high-quality interior packages
- Excellent organisational and programme management skills
- Strong communication and client-facing ability
- Commercial awareness and confidence managing costs, variations and subcontractors
- A proactive, problem-solving approach
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Experience working on occupied properties, listed buildings, central London projects or highly constrained sites would be advantageous.
