About the role
Our client is a well-established construction and civil engineering organisation delivering a wide range of residential, commercial, educational, and infrastructure projects across Northern Ireland and Great Britain.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to work within a supportive environment, taking ownership of commercial activities while collaborating closely with project managers and site teams to deliver successful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and appoint subcontractors across various construction schemes.
- Manage subcontractor packages from appointment through to final account completion.
- Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and cost assessments.
- Build strong working relationships with Contracts Managers and site teams.
- Carry out site visits to review completed works, quality, and project costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and information management systems.
- Support the wider commercial team with additional duties as required.

Essential Criteria:
- Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or a construction-related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Quantity Surveying role.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts including JCT, NEC, and PWC.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Full valid driving licence.
