Nursery Practitioner - Level 3

We are looking for a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join its Early Years Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver and evaluate activities covering all areas of the EYFS.
• Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment that meets individual children's needs.
• Act as a Key Person for a group of children and work closely with parents/carers.
• Observe, assess and record children's learning, development, behaviour and progress.
• Maintain children's learning journals and share relevant information with parents/carers.
• Support parents/carers with children's learning and development at home.
• Promote equality, diversity and inclusion throughout nursery practice.
• Carry out risk assessments and ensure appropriate health, safety and safeguarding procedures are followed.
• Identify, record and report safeguarding concerns appropriately.
• Attend case conferences and multi-agency meetings when required.
• Work collaboratively with external agencies and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for children.
• Support and supervise nursery students, including contributing to their assessments.
