Electrical Technician

Senior Electrical TechnicianFixed Term (3 years) -Oxfordshire Up to £45kWe are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK-based engineering organisation for a Senior Electrical Technician to join an experienced engineering team.The role will involve the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and fault-finding of complex electrical systems, together with providing technical guidance to other technicians and supporting engineers with equipment design and implementation.Key requirements for the Electrical Technician -

• ONC/OND, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Strong ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Practical experience with electrical/mechanical assembly, soldering, crimping, cable manufacture and rack wiring.
• Good understanding of electrical safety and safe systems of work.
• Experience of instrumentation or control systems would be advantageous.
• Some experience supervising, mentoring or training technical staff would be beneficial.
