Footwear Technologist

Role: FOOTWEAR TECHNOLOGIST Location: Kettering, UK Hours: 37.5 hrs per week Salary: Up to £33,000.00 Interaction Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation. We are seeking a Technologist to meet customer needs, testing products to ensure compliance with legislation, provision of information and presenting at seminars whilst promoting the organisation’s brand. About The Role As a Technologist your key responsibilities will include: Discussing results and new work with customers Drafting reports and responding to customer emails Meeting with customers and presenting seminars/webinars Working to and understanding Quality System and Health & Safety requirements Supporting technicians’ development Delivering SAFT training programme Contributing to writing of technical articles for internal and external publication Involvement in customer visits and promotion of services About You Essential Familiar with physical testing techniques Demonstrated organisation and planning skills Customer facing experience Confident presenter Excellent time management and scheduling skills Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work on own and as part of a team Highly motivated Problem solving and logical thinking Willingness to travel Desirable Completion of SAFT course or working towards completion Degree in Maths or Science Full, clean driving licence Experience of direct sales and marketing with exposure to business development tools and techniques Footwear industry experience Benefits Include Staff benefits include 25–30 days (service related) annual leave; life assurance; a group personal pension plan; income protection; free parking; flexible working hours.
