Easthampstead Park is situated in a breathtaking Grade II listed Victorian mansion. Our prestigious venue offers a captivating blend of elegance and natural beauty. Steeped in history and charm, this magnificent property provides the perfect setting for a wide range of conferences, meetings, training workshops, and unforgettable team retreats. Our grounds and mansion are also renowned for hosting stunning weddings & celebrations for up to 500 guests, boasting an enchanting wedding pavilion, resplendent original stained-glass window, a sophisticated Downshire ballroom, as well as our stunning King Suite, the largest event space in Berkshire, catering for up to 500 people.
We are looking for enthusiastic Bar Tender on a full-time basis, 45 hours per week - shift work is essential as well as the expectation to work weekends & bank holidays.
Salary up to £29,741.40 per annum plus tips.
As a member of the bar team you will be part of a Team of Food & Beverage service professionals supporting tables service at dinner and assisting on the bar during special events and functions.
Whilst experience within a quality Food & Beverage outlets is desirable, a passion for excellence, a can do attitude and a willingness to learn is essential. Various hours available. Must have weekend availability.

Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and responding to their needs effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Assist in managing stock levels, including ordering supplies as necessary.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to efficiently serve customers during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or hospitality is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and practices.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- A team player with a passion for providing exceptional service in the restaurant industry.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Must be over 18, due to the nature of the role. worked in a bar/food environment previously
