Estimator (Civils)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and friendly professional to join our team at Daniel Charles Construction Limited. We’re a privately-owned business with strong roots in Lincolnshire, known for delivering high-quality Civil Engineering projects across the region. You’ll play an important role in helping us deliver a wide range of interesting and varied projects. Your responsibilities will include: * Handling multiple projects, including civil engineering, oversite and building works * Reading and interpreting construction drawings to take off quantities * Reviewing tender documents and preparing subcontractor and material enquiries * Producing bills of quantities * Risk and value management * Preparing budgets, cost plans and estimates * Working independently to deliver accurate, competitive tenders * Applying your understanding of CDM Health & Safety, modern construction methods and contract requirements We’re seeking someone who not only has the technical skills but also fits our team culture. You should bring: * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office * A methodical and organised approach * Strong communication skills * Confidence working under pressure and meeting deadlines * A positive team-working attitude * Experience with Conquest Software (advantageous – training available) * Experience within the Highways / Civil Engineering industry If you’re enthusiastic, reliable, and enjoy being part of a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
