Mechanical Project Manager

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager (HVAC) on behalf of our client based in Brightlingsea, Essex on a permanent basis. Roles & Responsibilities * Manage air conditioning and ventilation installation projects from pre-start through to completion * Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials and project programmes * Attend and lead client and site meetings * Monitor project costs, variations and support procurement activities * Manage project quality, commissioning and handover documentation * Ensure Health & Safety compliance across all live projects * Support project reporting, forecasting and resource planning * Build and maintain strong client relationships * Deliver projects on time, within budget and to the highest standards * Carry out additional project management duties as required Additional Responsibilities * Previous experience managing HVAC installation projects essential * Experience delivering projects valued between £100k - £1m * Strong understanding of air conditioning, ventilation and ductwork systems * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications * Manage direct labour, subcontractors and suppliers effectively * Ensure projects remain commercially viable and programme deadlines are achieved * Maintain excellent communication with clients and internal teams Experience, Skills & Qualifications * Previous Mechanical Project Management experience within Building Services * Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical installations * Commercial awareness with experience managing project costs and variations * Excellent organisational and leadership skills * SMSTS qualification preferred * CSCS Card preferred * Full UK Driving Licence essential * Strong Health & Safety awareness Working Pattern & Benefits Hours: * Monday to Friday Salary: £45,000 - £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Benefits: Company Car, Fuel Card, Company Credit Card, Laptop, Mobile Phone, Company Pension, Free On-site Parking and the opportunity to join a growing and well-established mechanical contractor.
