Logistics Manager (Construction / MEP) Longcross, Surrey £20 per hour – up to £200 per day Start: End of May Freelance We’re currently looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to support a busy construction project based in Longcross. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who is confident managing site logistics, coordinating deliveries, and supporting site teams to keep operations running smoothly. The role will suit someone from a construction or MEP background who understands the importance of organisation, safety, and communication on a live site. Key responsibilities will include: * Taking receipt of materials and plant deliveries, checking and signing off * Organising and coordinating the movement of materials across site * Managing labourers to ensure efficient distribution of materials * Safely slinging materials for lifting operations (winch use) * Maintaining a clean, organised and safe logistics area * Supporting site teams with general logistics and coordination What we’re looking for: * Proven experience in a Logistics Manager / Storeman / Site Logistics role * Valid Slinger / Banksman certification (essential) * Strong understanding of site safety and lifting operations * Experience working on construction sites (MEP knowledge highly desirable) * Ability to manage labour and communicate effectively with site teams * Proactive, organised and hands-on approach This is a great opportunity to get involved on a well-run project with a strong site team, where your role will be key in keeping everything moving efficiently.
