Counterbalance Forklift/Warehouse Operative

Job Title: Counterbalance Forklift/Warehouse Operative Rate: £15.87phr Location: Ryton on Dunsmore Status: Temporary Long term possibly leading to a permanent role! Shift: Monday to Friday late shift 14:30 – 22:30 The Client: Recognised as one of the fastest-growing family-run businesses within the Manufacturing sector, working with a superb leadership team and staff Purpose: To operate safely and efficiently, maintaining high standards in storage and distribution. Scope: Working within the warehouse, it is your responsibility to ensure all goods are stored, picked and packed correctly adhering to company process. Reporting to the warehouse team leader, you will need to ensure all orders are dispatched, packed to the highest quality alongside ensuring all goods are stored safely and are protected from damage. Key Responsibilities * Ensuring all orders are picked, packed, and dispatched on time. * Accurate picking and packing * Stock movements * Safe storage and movement of goods * FLT driving. Please note only 30% of the job is forklift work * Warehouse 5s * To achieve annual targets * All other duties as assigned Person Specification: The competencies listed are appropriate to the Warehouse and are an illustration of the qualities that the company requires: - * Previous warehouse/logistics/procurement experience * Strong organisational skills * Can do attitude * Be multi-skilled * Ability to work under pressure * Good attention to detail * Self-motivated * Team Player
