Kitchen Designer

Are you an experienced Kitchen Designer looking to join a busy, growing business that specialises in creating high-end bespoke kitchens?

We're recruiting for a talented designer to take ownership of projects from initial consultation through to installation, creating beautiful, made-to-measure kitchen solutions for a wide range of clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business where quality craftsmanship, customer experience and attention to detail are at the heart of everything they do.

You’ll be working closely with clients, you'll take the time to understand their vision, lifestyle requirements and design preferences before transforming ideas into practical, high-quality kitchen designs.

As a Kitchen Designer, your key responsibilities will include:

* Meeting with clients to discuss requirements and provide expert design advice

* Conducting site visits and taking accurate measurements

* Producing bespoke kitchen designs using CAD software

* Creating detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacture

* Presenting design concepts, quotations and material recommendations

* Advising on cabinetry, worktops, appliances, storage solutions and finishes

* Liaising with production and installation teams throughout projects

* Managing projects from concept through to completion

* Building strong client relationships and delivering an exceptional customer experience

* Ensuring designs are practical, manufacturable and commercially viable

Requirements for the Kitchen Designer:

* Previous experience designing bespoke kitchens, fitted furniture or high-end joinery products

* Strong CAD design skills

* Knowledge of cabinet construction, joinery techniques and manufacturing processes

* Excellent communication and presentation skills

* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to convert enquiries into sales

* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

* The ability to read and interpret technical and architectural drawings

Salary, Hours & Benefits for the Kitchen Designer:

* Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

* £50,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience)

* 25 days annual leave + bank holidays

* Closed over Christmas
