QHSE Manager - Quality & IMS Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week Job Type: Permanent The Opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of a growing structural steel fabrication and construction business for an experienced QHSE Manager - Quality & IMS. This is a hands-on management role leading the Integrated Management System (IMS), with a strong focus on Quality Assurance, ISO compliance, auditing, certification, accreditation and continual improvement, alongside Health, Safety and Environmental responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Lead and improve the IMS, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Manage the Quality Management System, driving quality assurance and continual improvement. Plan and manage internal, external, customer and ISO audits, including corrective actions and close-out. Manage non-conformances, root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Maintain IMS policies, procedures and documentation. Conduct quality, compliance, site and process audits/inspections. Manage ISO certification and relevant third-party accreditations. Monitor Quality and HSQE KPIs, trends and improvement actions. Support supplier/subcontractor quality and compliance. Provide H&S guidance covering risk assessments, safe systems of work and incident investigations. Deliver IMS, Quality, H&S and Environmental training and toolbox talks. Ensure compliance with UK legislation and relevant industry requirements. Promote a positive culture of quality, compliance, safety and continual improvement.About You NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent - essential. Minimum 3 years' experience in Quality, QHSE, HSQE, HSEQ or IMS management. Experience within construction, manufacturing, structural steel, fabrication or engineering. Strong practical experience of ISO 9001, with knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Proven experience managing ISO, customer and third-party audits. Strong understanding of quality assurance, non-conformances, corrective actions and root-cause analysis. Good knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation. Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills. Full UK driving licence and valid CSCS card - essential. IOSH and ISO Internal/Lead Auditor qualifications advantageous.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality/QHSE professional to take ownership of the IMS and make a genuine impact within an ambitious and growing business.
