Job Summary Associate – Retail Leasing - Central LondonA leading Central London property consultancy is seeking a Senior Surveyor to join its highly regarded Retail Leasing team.This is an excellent opportunity to work in a client-facing, advisory-led role, acting for landlord clients across high-profile landed estates and some of London’s most prestigious retail locations. The role offers early responsibility, exposure to complex instructions, and clear scope for career progression within a collaborative and ambitious business. You will play a key role in delivering retail leasing mandates across high street and mixed-use schemes, advising both landlords and occupiers.The RoleResponsibilities will include:Managing retail leasing instructions across prime high street and mixed-use assetsCapital MarketsAsset ManagementUndertaking occupier canvassing, inspections, viewings and negotiationsPreparing and agreeing Heads of Terms and supporting transactions through to completionAdvising on rental values, tenant demand and market positioningProviding strategic leasing advice aligned to asset business plans and tenant mix strategiesBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, retailers, asset managers and professional advisersTracking retailer movements, expansion plans and wider market trendsSupporting valuation, investment and feasibility work where leasing insight is requiredRepresenting the business professionally at industry events and pitchesIdentifying opportunities for repeat instructions and cross-collaboration across the wider firmAbout YouMRICS QualifiedExperience across retail leasing, capital markets and asset managementStrong understanding of retail leasing structures and occupier requirementsConfident negotiator with experience drafting and agreeing Heads of TermsComfortable operating in a client-facing, advisory-led roleCommercially minded, well organised and proactive, with strong attention to detailFor more information about this exciting opportunity, please get in touch with Calum Moylan on 0207 318 5880 or cmoylan@macdonaldandcompany.com
