HGV Class 2 RCV Driver/Operator Full -Time £600 a week - Permanent, Full-time work environment includes: * Modern office setting * On average 35 working hours * Safe work environment * On-the-job training HGV class 2 RCV Driver/operator Job Description: Duties: * Carry out daily walk around checks prior to leaving the yard each morning and report any defects using the app. * Follow daily scheduled routes and collection timetables efficiently * Safely operate a commercial RCV motor vehicle to collect refuse waste and recyclable materials to designated disposal sites. * Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving * Communicate effectively with team members and customers * Follow company policies and procedures for safe handling of hazardous materials, if applicable * Working hours are typically Monday to Friday 07:00 to 15:00 * Seasonal weekend work occurs during one weekend in July each year Requirements: * Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated * Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past two years * One year of experience as a truck driver preferred * Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations governing commercial vehicle operation * Good communication skills, both verbal and written * Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment * Physical stamina to handle manual labour and loading/unloading of wheelie bins
