Electrician - MOD Residential Project (Newquay, Cornwall) Location: Newquay, Cornwall Rate: £28.00 per hour Overtime: Time and a half after 43 hours worked Hours: 47 hours per week Duration: 2-3 Year Contract Start Date: ASAP An established Tier 1 contractor is seeking experienced Electricians to join a long-term project on a secure MOD site in Newquay, Cornwall. The work involves electrical installation on properties within the MOD estate. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a major project with consistent hours and overtime available. Responsibilities Carrying out electrical installations on properties Installing containment, wiring, lighting, power and associated electrical systems Working to project specifications and site safety standards Completing work to a high standard of quality and compliance Collaborating with site management and other trades on site Requirements Qualified Electrician with relevant industry qualifications Valid ECS/JIB Card Experience on residential or commercial construction projects Ability to work within a secure MOD environment Candidates do not need to currently hold SC Clearance, however they must be eligible and willing to undergo the SC Clearance process which will be arranged by the employer What's On Offer £28.00 per hour Time and a half after 43 hours 47-hour working week Long-term contract (2-3 years) Opportunity to work on a major MOD development SC Clearance sponsorship and support provided Guidant, Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
