Assistant Management Accountant

Interim Assistant Management Accountant | Billingham | Up to £40,000 offering hybird working, long term Fixed Term Contract

Key responsibilities:

* Assisting with month-end processes including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and overhead postings

* Supporting payroll-related checks and bonus accruals

* Managing and reviewing company credit card transactions and expense approvals

* Bank reconciliations, FX postings and intercompany checks

* Supporting external accounting partners with overseas finance activities

* Manual journals and posting across multiple systems

* Assisting with management accounting activities and helping improve existing finance processes

What we're looking for:

* Assistant Management Accountant, Assistant Accountant or experienced Finance Assistant background

* AAT qualified, part-qualified or QBE candidates considered

* Strong Excel skills and experience using finance systems (Dynamics 365 experience would be advantageous)

* A proactive, inquisitive individual who is keen to learn, ask questions and add value

* Someone comfortable working across both transactional and month-end accounting duties
