About the role
🎮 General Manager – Flagship VR Experience

💰 £40,000–£45,000 + strong performance bonus
🚀 About the Role
We are launching a flagship free-roam virtual reality venue in Edinburgh and are looking for an exceptional, hands-on General Manager to lead the business from pre-opening through launch and into full operations.
This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a new entertainment concept — with real autonomy to build the team, shape the customer experience, and drive commercial success from day one.
The role is highly technology-led, combining venue operations with hands-on use of VR systems, booking platforms and customer management tools. It would particularly suit someone who is confident with technology and enjoys working in a gaming, immersive or digitally-driven environment.
With ambitious expansion plans, this role offers clear progression into multi-site or regional leadership for the right candidate.

• Oversee VR sessions and undertake basic technical troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation
• Liaise with the franchise provider on system updates, gameplay changes and operational best practice
Commercial & Performance Management
