About the role
Supporting Event companies during the Summer Season. This role offers flexible hours, whether you want full-time, evening, or day shifts, or the entire 3-4 months of summer. Specifically, there are opportunities with various Event clients in Southwest London. Roles are available for all levels, including Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and Lead Chef.

Remuneration:
£16.50 (£18.49 including Holiday pay) to £22.00 per hour (£24.66 with Holiday pay). The hourly rate depends on the client, your experience, and the role.
Roles include Chef de Partie, Premier Chef de Partie, Lead Chef, and Sous Chef.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8am to 4.30pm, plus evening functions with a minimum of 6 hours
- Evening functions may suit those looking for extra work alongside a full-time job
- Some weekends supporting events like weddings
Type of Work:
- Preparing large quantities of canapés, bowl food, weddings, film premieres, seated dinners, and banquets
- Crew and VIP catering at music festivals, film/TV locations, and festivals
- Plating and garnishing at events
Locations:
- Client kitchens situated throughout London to accommodate your home or work location
- Most evening functions in London, suitable for those nearby
- Weekend events and weddings may take place outside London
- Travel time and expenses for out-of-London functions are covered
- Taxis provided from home if public transport is unavailable xwzovoh
Experience and Requirements:
- Relevant culinary experience, including fresh food and volume cooking
- Minimum experience required for Chef de Partie role
Licences and Certifications:
- Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
- Allergen Training Certificate
- Own clean chef whites, hat, apron, knives, and safety shoes
- Right to work in the UK
