About the role

Manchester – 3 days per week in the office.

Quality Assurance / Customer Operations

We are looking for analytical specialists who can bring deep subject‑matter expertise to our control environment. You will audit and review financial crime cases to ensure compliance with FCA regulatory standards and the Proceeds of Crime Act.

  • Holistic Case & Task Auditing: Conduct technical audits of end‑to‑end financial crime cases and customer interactions to ensure full compliance.
  • SLA & Quality Oversight: Monitor adherence to Service Level Agreements and assess risk mitigation without compromising accuracy.
  • Advanced Risk Identification: Identify emerging risks, procedural gaps or near‑misses and elevate significant findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Monthly MI & Reporting: Develop comprehensive monthly management information reports that translate audit data into actionable business insights.
  • Trend Analysis & Feedback: Identify systemic trends and root causes across the department to provide strategic feedback that shapes training, policy updates and operational processes.

Qualifications

  • Experienced Investigator: Solid background in Financial Crime, AML and KYC.
  • Regulatory Mindset: Understanding of FCA, Consumer Duty and the Proceeds of Crime Act.
  • Confident Communicator: Ability to deliver constructive, evidence‑based feedback to analysts and stakeholders.
  • Analytical & Detail‑Oriented: Familiarity with QA frameworks or transition from deep‑investigative work to QA responsibilities.
  • Objective: Investigative curiosity to spot gaps and ensure quality is never compromised for speed.

  1. 30‑minute introduction and values call with a Talent Partner
  2. 45‑minute interview with a QA Team Lead and Outcome Testing Manager
  3. 30‑minute interview with the Head of Customer Insights
