About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established engineering workshop based in Sheffield. This is a great opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for consistent work, competitive pay, and a stable long-term position.
Role Overview
You will be working on precision fabrication and TIG welding across a range of materials, producing high-quality components to engineering drawings and specifications. Attention to detail and a strong welding background are essential.
✔️ Requirements (ESSENTIAL)
Proven TIG welding experience (non-negotiable)
Strong background in fabrication and workshop work
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience working with stainless steel and/or mild steel
High standard of finish and quality control
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Pay & Benefits
£16.00 – £19.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Overtime available at enhanced rates
Long-term, ongoing work
Supportive workshop environment
Opportunity for permanent placement for the right candidate
Location
Based in Sheffield, working within a busy and well-equipped fabrication workshop.
