Electrician / Solar PV Installer - Oxfordshire - Client Side - Basic Salary up to £48,798 - 37 hrs pw - 37 days holiday (29 + 8 bank holidays) - Secure and flexible pension scheme. An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrician / Solar PV Installer to join a well-established organisation delivering electrical and renewable energy projects across domestic and commercial properties. This role is ideal for a qualified electrician with strong Solar PV experience who is looking to work on a varied portfolio of renewable energy and electrical installation projects while developing their career within a growing sector. The Role * Installing, commissioning and maintaining domestic and commercial Solar PV systems * Carrying out electrical energy storage system (battery) installations * Diagnosing and repairing faults on Solar PV and electrical systems * Completing electrical installations, rewires, remedial works and maintenance * Inspection, testing and verification of electrical installations * Ensuring all work complies with current BS7671 Wiring Regulations and health and safety legislation * Participating in a standby call-out rota Requirements Applicants should have: * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification * BPEC or City & Guilds qualifications in Solar PV and Electrical Energy Storage Systems * Proven experience installing Solar PV systems within domestic and commercial environments * Strong experience in electrical installation, fault finding, inspection, testing and rewiring * Good working knowledge of BS7671 and current electrical regulations * A recognised electrical apprenticeship * Full UK Driving Licence Desirable * City & Guilds 2391 / 2394 / 2395 Inspection & Testing * NICEIC certification experience * Experience measuring and specifying small electrical works * A genuine interest in renewable energy and sustainability What's on Offer * Basic Salary up to £48,798 * Permanent, secure employment * Company Vehicle and Fuel card * 37 hour working week * 37 days' annual leave (29 days plus 8 bank holidays) * Secure and flexible pension scheme * Excellent family-friendly benefits, including childcare support * Retail discounts with a wide range of leading brands * Heavily discounted gym membership * Permanent, full-time position * Excellent job security with genuine career progression opportunities This is a rare opportunity to join an organisation in Oxfordshire that genuinely values its people, invests in their development and offers long-term career stability.
