This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong Electrical Design Engineer to join an experienced design function where you will play a key role in delivering large-scale renewable projects whilst progressing towards Design Manager or even Design Director in the future.

As a Lead Solar Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
* Design LV, MV and HV renewable energy systems
* Support tendering activities and technical project delivery
* Lead and review electrical designs across Solar PV and BESS projects
* Oversee both internal and external design teams
* Office based role in Colchester The successful Lead Solar Design Engineer should have:
* Degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering
* 18th Edition qualification
* Experience in the electrical design of BESS and Solar PV systems
