Carpenter – Multi-trader Location: Coventry (Midlands-based travel) Pay: £18.50 + per hour (PAYE) (Depending on experience) Permanent position We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Facilities Management company based in Coventry, who are looking to appoint a qualified Carpenter on a permanent basis due to increased workload. This is a hands-on, varied role working across planned and reactive maintenance, alongside fit-out and refurbishment projects across the Midlands. The Role * Carrying out planned and reactive carpentry maintenance and remedial works * Supporting fit-out and renovation works * Undertaking occasional multi-trade tasks where required * Working across commercial and public sector environments * Travelling across the Midlands, and sometimes further afield, with the possibility of very occasional overnight stays Requirements * Minimum Level 3 qualification in Carpentry & Joinery (City & Guilds or NVQ) * Proven experience within maintenance, FM, or fit-out environments would be an advantage * CSCS Card would be an advantage * Ability to carry out multi-trade tasks when needed such as basic plumbing & building fabric work etc. * Full UK driving licence (essential) * Reliable, professional, and comfortable working as part of a team * The ability to pass a DBS Check Important This role is ideal for candidates with a short or immediate notice period, but the right applicant is key Applicants must be experienced in working as a direct employee (PAYE) rather than operating as a subcontractor or self-employed.
