Commissioning Engineer - Mechanical / Electrical

Salary: Up to £42,000 DOE + Overtime
Hours: 42 hours, Monday-Friday

Are you a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong mechanical experience and a background in conveyors? Looking for a varied role with excellent progression and opportunities to travel?

We're looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join an established technical team, responsible for commissioning, testing and handing over conveyor systems to customers across the UK.

The Role

Plan commissioning activities alongside Project Managers and Technical Sales Managers.
Commission mechanical and electrical conveyor systems.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
Carry out remedial work and complete commissioning reports and checklists.
Provide customer training on safe and effective equipment operation.
Advise customers on maintenance best practices.
Manage customer handovers and provide post-installation support.
Complete snagging lists, installation reviews and quality feedback.
Ensure site signage, decals and housekeeping standards are maintained.

What We're Looking For

Maintenance or Commissioning Engineering experience.
Strong mechanical skills (ideally 80-90% mechanical).
Multi-skilled mechanical and electrical knowledge.
PLC experience.
Knowledge of pneumatic systems and components.
Good customer-facing skills and a methodical, adaptable approach.
Willingness to travel across the UK and eventually internationally.
