HR Advisor

At GXO, we’re looking for a HR Advisor to join our Coca Cola team in Lisburn, BT28. In this role, you will have day to day responsibility for the site and will manage all site HR and Payroll activities in a manner that adds value to the client in support of the business key performance objectives.

This is a full‑time, permanent, site‑based position, working mainly Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00. We do have some flexibility on start and end times, and we ask for some flexibility to, this is logistics after all!

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £34,600.00 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and access to our benefits platform, including retail discounts.

What you’ll do on a typical day

• Reporting to the HR Business Partner, your responsibilities will include all aspects of ER, safety, service, cost and people management and achievement of the appropriate KPI’s;
• Responsible for delivering a proactive HR strategy that is dedicated to delivering improved performance focused on customer excellence
• Responsible for the day-to-day overall management of the HR Team and all HR activities and key initiatives such as performance management, talent management, development, absence management, wellbeing and engagement
• Working together with local unions and workforce representatives to develop a positive, proactive, constructive working relationship implementing an employee relations climate of excellence to support the site’s development
• Build and implement an effective employee engagement strategy, resulting in a highly engaged and motivated workforce

What you need to succeed at GXO

• Be of graduate calibre and possess a CIPD qualification
• A proven track record in a similar capacity, preferably with exposure to an operational environment such as logistics, production or manufacturing
• Strong working knowledge of employment law, HR policy/practice and employee relations
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong, long-standing working relationships
• The ability to work well under pressure, both on your own and as part of a small team
