The opportunity Youll join a busy and well-established Bereavement / Private Client team, handling a broad mix of Wills, Probate, and Trust matters with increasing complexity.
The role offers genuine autonomy, strong support, and exposure to high-quality work, particularly in estate administration and trust structures.
What youll be doing Advising clients and drafting Wills, LPAs, and Powers of Attorney (from straightforward to complex matters) Managing probate and estate administration, including high-value and taxable estates Preparing IHT400s, schedules, and advising on available inheritance tax reliefs Handling intestate estates with strong knowledge of succession rules Trust administration, including life interest and discretionary trusts Advising on the creation, ongoing management, and winding up of trusts Supporting estate planning for high-net-worth individuals Working with older and vulnerable clients where appropriate Supporting wider team activity including networking and business development What were looking for Solicitor or CILEX/FILEX Strong background in Wills, Trusts, Probate / Private Client work Confident handling estate administration and tax-related matters Exposure to HNW clients or complex estates desirable STEP qualification (or working towards) beneficial but not essential Strong client care skills xwzovoh and a sensitive, professional approach Proactive and comfortable working both independently and within a team Whats on offer Competitive salary (dependent on experience) Hybrid and flexible working options Structured career development with clear progression pathways Supportive team environment with regular reviews and guidance Bonus schemes (performance and firm-wide) Strong benefits package including pension, wellbeing support, and healthcare cash plan Focus on work/life balance and long-term development Regular team and firm-wide social and wellbeing initiatives
