Location: Birmingham/Hybrid minimum two days a week

Working alongside a skilled team of internal communications professionals,youlllead our channel strategy to deliver positive change and enhance the colleague experience. Highly organised and proactive,youllalso lead on colleague events that resonate with people at all levels of the organisation.

Youllbring strong internal communications experience and excellent stakeholder relationship skills, using these to coach leaders and build greater connectivity across Citizen.Youllbe confident working closely with Executive leadership teams and will take the lead on how we communicate with line managers, equipping and supporting them to engage their teams effectively.

Strategic Advisor: Imagine being the compass for our colleagues. Youll develop and deliver a consistent narrative that aligns with Citizens overall strategy, purpose, values, and behaviours. Its like weaving a story that everyone can relate to

Channel Maestro: Picture yourself as the conductor of an orchestra. Youll lead our internal communication channels, using both research methods (think surveys and data) to make sure they meet the needs of our awesome colleagues

Trusted Coach: Imagine coaching our leadership teams. Youll help them deliver impactful employee communication, building trust by being open and honest. Its like being the secret sauce behind their inspiring messages

Relationship Builder: Think of yourself as a networking guru. Youll build outstanding relationships with our leaders, becoming their go-to advisor for internal comms. Its all about trust and collaboration

Values Ambassador: Imagine spreading our values like wildfire. Youll work proactively with colleagues across Citizen, guiding communication activities that reflect who we are. Its like infusing our brand into every message

As Internal Communications Business Partner we need you to have:

• Exceptional communicator with an ability to translate complex business materials into compelling content for a range of internal communications channels
• Experience of developingand delivering communication strategies
• Experience of working on change programmes
• Experience of managing and leading multi-channel communications
• Excellent writing skills, storytelling, and people-centred communications.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of the full range of comms channel mix

• IOIC/CIM/ CIPR qualifications
