Site Engineer- Renewable Energy (Solar & Bess) Our client is a leading international industrial and energy organisation with a strong presence across Europe and beyond. It offers engineers the opportunity to contribute to complex, high-impact projects in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. Looking for experienced Electrical, Civil and Mechanical Site Engineers to support the delivery of Utility-scale solar PV power plants (5 MW and above). This is a site-based role focused on installation works, ensuring compliance with UK standards, and supporting successful project delivery from construction through commissioning. You will work closely with the Construction Manager, project team, and subcontractors to ensure electrical works are completed safely, on time, and to specification. On-site works for utility-scale solar PV projects Review and interpret electrical designs, including PV layouts, DC/AC cabling, inverter stations, substations, and single-line diagrams Identify design discrepancies or constructability issues and report to the Construction Manager Provide daily progress updates on construction activities, programme status, and material deliveries Monitor and control electrical materials on site, including inverters, transformers, switchgear, cables, and containment Ensure all works comply with UK standards, project specifications, and HSE requirements Support inspections, snagging, testing, commissioning, and energisation activities University or Technical Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering Minimum 3 years UK experience as a Site Engineers working for an EPC company. Previous experience on utility-scale solar PV projects (+5 MW) Strong knowledge of MV/LV systems, earthing, cable installation, and grid connection works Excellent use of English Construction experience UK driving licence Pay range and compensation package In addition to a competitive base salary, the package includes a daily food allowance, a company car and fuel allowance, company pension contributions, private healthcare, and 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
