Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor

Ashbys Consulting are working with a widely recognised, multi-discipline construction consultancy in Oxfordshire, who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor.The company work with a variety of public and private sector clients, and assist in the delivery of major residential, commercial and industrial projects across the UK. They offer a full suite of cost, design, planning, Health & Safety, and design consultancy services.Your responsibilities will include:Advise on services costs involved in building projectsProvide the full suite of MEP cost and commercial management project servicesEvaluation of costs and advise on alternative proposalsAdvise on contract arrangements and conditionsUndertaking pre and post contract workMonitoring of change with the scope of worksPreparing and issuing of contract documents through the supply chainLiaise with the client, main contractor and other departmentsProvide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimatesProduce accurate monthly reports and attend financial and project review meetings as requiredYou will need proven experience of working in a consultancy environment, and have an extensive understanding of the commercial management of MEP projects.
