Planner - Civil EngineeringNorthamptonFull Time, PermanentThe OpportunityA leading civil engineering specialist, part of a well-established Tier 1 contractor group, is looking to appoint an experienced Planner to support the delivery of a growing portfolio of infrastructure and civils projects across the Midlands.This business combines the backing and stability of a major contractor with the flexibility and pace of a specialist delivery arm, offering exposure to a diverse range of schemes and long-term career progression.The RoleAs Planner, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of civil engineering projects, taking responsibility for programme development, monitoring, and reporting from pre-construction through to completion.You'll work closely with project, commercial, and operational teams to ensure programmes are robust, achievable, and aligned with project objectives.Key Responsibilities-    Develop and manage detailed project programmes using Asta Powerproject-    Provide planning support across live civil engineering schemes-    Monitor progress, analyse programme performance, and report on key metrics-    Identify risks, delays, and opportunities within project timelines-    Support tender and pre-construction activities with programme input-    Collaborate with site and commercial teams to ensure alignment between programme, cost, and delivery-    Maintain accurate records and programme updates throughout the project lifecycleRequirements-    Proven experience as a Planner within civil engineering or infrastructure projects-    Strong working knowledge of Asta Powerproject (essential)-    Solid understanding of project lifecycles from tender through to completion-    Experience working on complex civils schemes-    Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsPackage-    Salary: Up to 80,000-    6,000 car allowance or company car-    Pension-    Bonus-    Plus additional benefitsWhy Apply?-    Join a growing business with a strong secured pipeline of work-    Be part of a reputable contractor group with long-term stability-    Work on high-profile civil engineering and infrastructure projects-    Excellent opportunities for career progression and developmentIf you're an experienced Planner looking to take the next step within a dynamic and growing organisation, I'd love to hear from you.Discipline(s): Civil Engineering, Infrastructure & Built EnvironmentJob type: Permanent
