School Receptionist (SIMS Experienced) We are seeking a professional, organised, and friendly School Receptionist to join our team in Lambeth. As the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and pupils, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient front office environment. Location: Lambeth Pay: £16 – £18 per hour Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:45pm Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm Key Responsibilities: Provide a warm and professional reception service to all visitors and callers Manage incoming calls, emails, and enquiries promptly and effectively Assiting with the collections from afterschool clubs, signing in and out Maintain accurate pupil records using SIMS (School Information Management System) Support attendance monitoring and reporting through SIMS Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and correspondence Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all timesRequirements: Proven experience working in a school office environment Strong working knowledge of SIMS is essential Must hold and Enhanced DBS on the update service Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High level of organisation and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work calmly under pressure A friendly, approachable, and professional mannerWhat We Offer: Competitive hourly rate A supportive and welcoming school community Opportunities for professional development A varied and rewarding role at the heart of the school
