Graduate Sustainability Consultant (IES Modelling) Reading Area (Hybrid Working) £26,000+ DOE The Opportunity My client is looking to bring on a Graduate Sustainability Consultant to join their growing team in the Reading area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the early stages of their career to develop hands-on experience across energy modelling, sustainability strategy, and building performance. You'll be supported in developing your technical skills, with plenty of opportunity to attend training, gain certifications, and progress within the business. What's on Offer Starting salary from £26,000+ depending on experience Hybrid working with strong flexibility Full training and support with professional development Opportunity to attend courses and gain industry accreditations Supportive, collaborative team environment Clear progression into a fully-fledged Sustainability Consultant role What You'll Be Doing Supporting the delivery of energy and sustainability assessments Assisting with SAP, SBEM, and overheating (Part O) analysis Using IES VE for energy modelling and building performance simulations Producing reports and supporting planning energy strategies Working closely with architects, engineers, and senior consultants Keeping up to date with UK Building Regulations and sustainability standards What We're Looking For A degree in Sustainability, Building Services, Architecture, or a related field Some relevant experience (placement, internship, or similar) is beneficial but not essential An interest in energy modelling, particularly IES VE Basic understanding of UK Building Regulations (Part L, Part O beneficial) A proactive and motivated attitude with a willingness to learn Keen to attend training, gain accreditations, and develop technically If you're a recent graduate (or early in your career) looking to break into sustainability and energy modelling, this is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience and build your career.
