Storesperson / Stores Coordinator

Location: Crawley Salary: £28,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent The Opportunity A growing Electrical & Communications contractor is looking for an organised and reliable Storesperson / Stores Coordinator to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of its busy stores operation. You will play an important role in ensuring materials, tools and equipment are accurately received, stored and made available to engineers and site teams when required. Key Responsibilities Manage goods in and goods out, ensuring deliveries and stock movements are accurately recorded Organise and maintain stock levels across the stores Order materials, tools and equipment as required Liaise with suppliers and track deliveries Prepare materials, tools and equipment for engineers and site teams Carry out regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records Keep the stores organised, safe and efficient Deliver materials and equipment to site when required Support the wider team with general stores and logistics duties About You The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in stores, warehouse, logistics or stock control Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail Experience within Telecoms, Electrical, Construction or Engineering, or with suppliers of related equipment and materials Good IT and communication skills The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively A full UK driving licenceWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company.
