Data Analyst - Cyber Security £45,000 - £50,000 + bonus and extensive benefits Full Time / Permanent West Midlands / Hybrid - 1 day a month in the office The Role and Company: I am looking for a driven Data Analyst / Cyber Security Analyst with a strong data analytics skill set to join a large nationally recognised brand head quartered in the West Midlands. As a Data Analyst within the Cyber Security team, you will play a key role collecting, analysing, and interpreting Cyber Security related data to identify vulnerabilities, threats and detect suspicious activity. You will support the wider team to deliver a comprehensive programme of security testing, including vulnerability scanning and security configuration reviews, ensuring weaknesses are identified early and accurately. Responsibilities: Analyse the impact and severity of identified vulnerabilities based on factors such as the likelihood of exploitation, potential impact on the business, and existing security controls. Collaborate with system administrators, developers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective remediation plans to address identified vulnerabilities in a timely manner. Generate detailed vulnerability assessment reports, including findings, recommendations, and risk assessments, to communicate the status of vulnerabilities to management and stakeholders. Experience required: Previous experience in a similar Data Analyst ideally within a Cyber Security team or environment or with a keen interested or degree in Cyber Security. Excellent analytical and investigative skills Previous experience with Power BI is preferred.
