Estate Operative - Part Time

Job Title: Estate Operative Salary: £14,250 Location: Stanmore Working Hours: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 08:00am to 4:00pm About the Role We are seeking a reliable and proactive Part Time Estate Operative to help maintain a high standard across a residential development in Stanmore. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the estate remains clean, safe, and well-presented at all times, while delivering excellent customer service to residents and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the site, alongside a friendly and welcoming team. This is a Part Time role working 21 hours per week Key Responsibilities - Ensure all bin stores are kept clean and tidy on a daily basis - Move bins for scheduled collections and return them after collection - Break down and dispose of bulk waste where appropriate - Sweep and maintain cycle stores on a weekly basis - Sweep and clear car parks weekly - Keep courtyards and communal areas clean and presentable - Carry out litter picking across the estate - Empty litter bins regularly - Sweep leaves and debris from all external areas - Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the estate - Skills & Experience - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated - Good attention to detail - Proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving - Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively - Benefits - 20 days annual leave + bank holidays - Pension scheme - Long service awards - Discounted gym membership
