Job Description:
The company are currently seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder to join their dynamic team. As a Fabricator Welder, you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of metal components for various projects. You will work with a variety of metals, ensuring that all welding and fabrication tasks are carried out to the highest standards
Key Duties:
· Read and interpret technical engineering drawings, and schematics.
· Measure, cut, and shape metal components to required specifications.
· Perform welding tasks using MIG welding techniques.
· Assemble and fit components, ensuring proper alignment and securing.
· Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets the specified standards.
· Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
· Operate various tools and machinery including grinders, cutting machines, and welding machines.
· Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed in the workshop.
Candidate Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder.
· Proficient in MIG welding techniques.
· Solid understanding of metal fabrication and welding processes.
· Ability to read and interpret, schematics, and technical engineering drawings.
· Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
· Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in welding.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· [Preferred] Coded Welder to BS EN ISO 9606-1:2007.
