Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Bristol | Rate: £350 - £500 per day A well-established main contractor is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of a project or major project section in the Bristol area. You'll protect the commercial position on site, working closely with the delivery team and reporting to a Project Manager or Commercial Manager. What you'll be doing: * Leading procurement, subcontract administration and payment/valuation processes * Managing cost control, CVR reporting and forecasting * Identifying and managing risks, opportunities and contractual change * Overseeing final accounts, variations and dispute resolution * Supporting and developing junior commercial team members * Liaising directly with clients and PQS to keep projects on track commercially What we're looking for: * Strong track record in a Senior QS role within main contracting * Solid grasp of contractual, commercial, insurance and legal processes * Confident managing procurement, subcontracts and final accounts end-to-end * A proactive, numbers-driven approach with strong stakeholder relationships * Ability to lead and develop others within a commercial team Why apply: Join a business that invests in its people and gives Senior QSs real autonomy - leading commercial strategy on live projects rather than just processing numbers.
