Senior Structural Integrity Engineer

Senior Structural Engineer – Technical Coordination (Nuclear) CCL Global are currently recruiting for a Senior Structural Engineer – Technical Coordination to support a major nuclear programme within a highly regulated critical infrastructure setting. This role sits within the engineering Technical Directorate and acts as a technical project manager, coordinating between consortium partners, the Client, and key stakeholders. Type of Contract: Permanent Location: Site-based (details on application) Contract Length: Long-term, ongoing through programme delivery This is not a production role . The successful candidate will not be expected to perform detailed calculations, use analysis software, or produce calculation reports. Key Responsibilities Coordinate technical activities and interfaces across consortium partners and stakeholders. Support the review and challenge of technical assessments, methodologies, and engineering approaches. Facilitate technical meetings, workshops, and resolution of technical issues. Monitor technical risks, assumptions, and open points, ensuring timely closure. Provide technical support to delivery teams and management on complex engineering matters. Ensure consistency and alignment of technical solutions across the programme. Requirements Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Around 10 years' experience in civil and structural engineering projects. Strong technical understanding of reinforced concrete and structural design principles . Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills. Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder environments. Nuclear or other highly regulated industry experience desirable. Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards chartership desirable.
