Temporary Experienced Banqueting Waiting Staff

We are currently looking to add to our bank of EXPERIENCED banqueting staff for hotels, bars, restaurants and arenas in Glasgow and the surrouding areas. Main duties and responsibilities include: Setting up the banquet room prior to the event, including arranging tables, chairs, table linens, silverware, and centerpieces Serving food and beverages to guests promptly and professionally Interacting with guests in a friendly and courteous manner Clearing tables and cleaning up the banquet room after the event Assisting in the preparation of food and beverages if requested Addressing any guest complaints or issues and ensuring they are resolved to the guest’s satisfaction Coordinating with other banquet staff, chefs, and event planners to ensure smooth operation of the event Adhering to food safety and sanitation standard Pouring of wine and other beverages at the table Performing other related tasks as required by the banquet manager or supervisor What we need from you: It is essential that you can demonstrate that you have held this position before as no training will be provided Have a great attitidue and smart appearance Knowledge of alcohol service laws, ID verification, and responsible beverage service techniques Ability to carry 3 hot plates out and to clear at least 5 plates as per banqueting standards Food safety and sanitation knowledge (ServSafe, HACCP principles) with consistent application during service Table service techniques (bussing, tray carrying, plate handling) and safe manual handling of heavy trays and dishes Menu and allergen awareness, including the ability to relay ingredients and possible cross-contact risks to guests Exceptional verbal communication Attention to detail for order accuracy, presentation standards, and following service sequences What we offer: Flexible working schedules that work around you Weekly pay Opportunity t work in some of Glasgow's finest venues Minimum £14.24/hr inc holiday pay PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY THOSE WITH RELEVANT EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED  THERE IS NO SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE FOR THESE ROLES AND YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN THE UK
