CNC Turner

My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for a CNC Turner. Set and operate high precision machine, working to tight tolerances. What’s on offer: * Working pattern 6-2/2-10 with an early finish on Fridays ! * ability to increase hourly rate training on new machines * Overtime available * Great company team and culture * Excellent pension scheme and life assurance * Free onsite parking * Sick pay scheme and cash health plan The Job: * Set and Edit programmes using Fanuc controls. * Experience of programming would be a distinct advantage. * Knowledge of manual machining would be desirable. * Must be able to read an interpret engineering drawings. * Inspection of own work using conventional measurement techniques * Confident CNC Turner with programming experience would be an advantage * Training and progression offered About you: * Experience of working within a metal cutting environment producing precision parts to tight tolerances * Experience of operating, setting up and editing of Turning lathes * Ability to read and understand technical drawings. * Confidence and the ability to work in a precision engineering environment and the ability to work on bespoke and one-off items. * Experience of tooling and set-ups would be a distinct advantage. * Flexible to work rotating day shifts. * willing to work overtime as and when required This role offers a fantastic opportunity for candidates looking to gain new skills, working with a niche precision engineering company that is highly respected throughout the world.
