Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a highly supportive SEN school in Radlett, Hertfordshire. This well-resourced and nurturing environment specialises in supporting children with additional needs, with a particular focus on Autism.
The school offers outstanding professional support, enabling both pupils and staff to thrive. This role begins in September 2026, or sooner for the right candidate, initially on a temporary basis with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent.

Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience in Primary, EYFS, or SEN education settings
- Strong understanding of Autism and effective SEN strategies
- Confident in classroom and behaviour management
- Passionate about delivering engaging, differentiated learning experiences
- Reflective, resilient, and a collaborative team player
Key Responsibilities
- Teach small groups of pupils in Years 3-6, tailoring learning to individual needs
- Create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment for pupils with Autism
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants to ensure consistent and effective support
- Monitor progress and set personalised, achievable learning goals
- Contribute to the wider school community and development of SEN provision
