A leading UK law firm is seeking an Insolvency & Restructuring Solicitors to join its highly regarded disputes practice in Manchester. Working with insolvency practitioners, lenders, directors, businesses and other stakeholders, you’ll advise on a broad range of corporate and personal insolvency matters, encompassing both contentious and non-contentious work.

This Insolvency & Corporate Recovery Solicitor opportunity in Manchester offers exposure to high-quality work from day one. You’ll work alongside experienced practitioners on complex insolvency and restructuring matter while enjoying excellent client contact, genuine responsibility and a clear route for career progression.

As an Insolvency & Corporate Recovery Solicitor in Manchester, you'll join a collaborative and supportive team recognised for delivering commercially focused advice to clients ranging from SMEs to large national and international organisations.

The Role:

• Working alongside partners on complex commercial disputes
• Managing your own matters with growing autonomy
• Advising insolvency practitioners, individuals, directors and stakeholders
• Handling both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters
• Assisting on corporate restructurings, administrations, liquidations and bankruptcies
• Managing insolvency litigation and recovery actions
• Providing strategic advisory support to businesses experiencing financial challenges
• Advising on directors’ duties and corporate recovery matters
• Managing your own caseload with increasing autonomy
• Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
• Collaborating with colleagues across the firms wider commercial and disputes practice

The Candidate:

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Insolvency, Corporate Recovery or Commercial Litigation
• Previous litigation experience ideally gained within a disputes or insolvency practice
• Experience in corporate restructuring and advisory work
• Strong technical, drafting and analytical skills
• Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to client service
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Able to manage competing priorities effectively
• Ambitious and motivated to develop a long term career in insolvency and restructuring
• Team player with a collaborative approach
• Committed to delivering exceptional client outcomes
