About the role

Logistics Administrator Temporary with the potential to become permanent. Full Time, 9am - 5.30pm - early finish on a Friday £12.71ph Rotherham area Our well-established technology company is looking for a logistics administrator to provide transport solutions to customers. Working with internal and external stakeholders you will ensure global shipments are sent for on time delivery. Duties of the logistics administrator include: • Work alongside customers, export agents, couriers and customs to manage shipments. • Obtain information for pre shipment including, import licences, shipping schedules and client opening times. • Work on changing priorities. • Manage customer expectations • Strong administration duties including data base management • Working with a small friendly team. To be considered for the logistics administrator role the ideal candidate will understand: • Global customs clearance, but this is not essential. • Candidates must have experience of working in a high volume, fast paced admin role and hold intermediate IT skills including Word and Excel. • A strong attention to detail and solid customer service skills are needed to be considered.
