It is particularly well suited to a seagoing professional looking to transition ashore, offering the chance to utilise your onboard experience in a dynamic and supportive office environment.The Marine Superintendent will provide operational support and technical guidance to assigned LNG vessels, ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental and regulatory requirements. You will act as a key link between ship and shore, supporting day-to-day operations, inspections, and continuous improvement across the fleet.Required skill set and experience:Unlimited Certificate of Competency (STCW II/2)Seagoing experience as a senior officer, ideally with LNG vessel exposureExperience working on LNG carriers or within gas tanker operationsStrong understanding of LNG cargo operations and associated safety requirementsKnowledge of ISM, ISPS, and industry vetting processes such as OCIMF and SIREExperience conducting vessel inspections, audits, and ship visitsAbility to support incident investigations and produce detailed reportsStrong operational, safety, and compliance knowledge within marine environmentsCommercial awareness and ability to support cost control and budgetingExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong organisational and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work effectively within a global, multicultural environmentBenefits:Market-Leading Workplace Pension.Competitive Annual Leave. Private Medical Care.Employee Well-Being Programme.Cycle-To-Work Scheme.The business operates a 5 day per week in office presence, with the ability to utilise hybrid working, after probation period, up to twice a week, in line with business needs. How to Apply:Please submit your CV by clicking "Apply for this Job".Please note, you require the right to live and work in the UK without the need for sponsorship now or in the future to apply for this role.All applications will be contacted ahead of submitting to Northern Marine Group
