Senior Structural Designer

About The RolePD&MS Group are now looking for a Senior Structural Designer to join our team in Aberdeen or Glasgow on a full-time, on-going contract basis. We offer a flexible hybrid working model where 2 days per week can be worked remotely. This role will involve flowline work, we are seeking Designers with experience in brownfield pipe support design incorporating bolted connections for this role. Candidates must be able to work in a 2D and 3D AutoCAD/Plant 3D environment and able to utilise ReCAP point cloud data.If you are passionate about Design, have some energy industry experience, or have transferable skills, then we would love to hear from you.Key duties:Creates and checks engineering designsResponsible for ensuring designs meet project requirementsInput to project plansIdentify areas of concern during any project or studyProduce cost- effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add valueAbility to address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solutionUndertake surveys, both onshore and offshore (not essential)About YouOur ideal candidate will enjoy team working, will be customer and quality focused, can use their own initiative and will be responsive to our business and client needs.
