Senior Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Senior Vehicle Technician at a well-established dealership in Gravesend. Benefits: * Competitive salary of £37,000, with potential earnings up to £58,000 * Guaranteed minimum earnings of £46,000 for the first three months * 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays * Discount schemes on MOTs, services, parts, and accessories * Full training and ongoing professional development opportunities * Access to wellbeing support and retail discounts * Stable employment within a recognised dealership group * Life assurance and mental health support at no cost * Access to exclusive gym and retail discounts Duties: * Conduct vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to manufacturer standards * Carry out routine maintenance, including servicing and safety checks * Complete accurate documentation of work performed * Support the workshop team to meet productivity and customer satisfaction targets as a Senior Vehicle Technician * Ensure warranty and safety procedures are followed diligently * Achieve Master Technician accreditation with the franchise * Provide excellent customer service and technical support in a fast-paced environment Requirements: * NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair * Minimum of three years’ experience working in a dealership or reputable garage * Full UK driving licence * MOT Tester qualification (preferred but not essential) * Strong communication skills in English * Proactive with attention to detail and customer-focused approach * Previous experience as a Senior or Diagnostic Vehicle Technician is desirable * Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in a mechanical workshop setting Our client is an equal opportunities employer committed to fair and inclusive hiring practices.
