Teacher
About the role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Teacher (QTS Required) to join our specialist education team, supporting children and young people with additional social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
This is an opportunity to make a genuine difference by creating a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment where every pupil can succeed. While previous experience working with SEND or SEMH pupils would be advantageous, it is not essential. We welcome applications from teachers who are committed to inclusive education and willing to develop their skills in a specialist setting.
The Role
As a Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet individual learning needs.
* Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to promote engagement and achievement.
* Create a safe, supportive, and structured classroom environment.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to support pupil progress.
* Foster confidence, resilience, and independence in learners.
* Maintain high expectations while adapting your approach to meet varying needs and challenges.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Is resilient, patient, and adaptable.
* Has excellent classroom management skills and can maintain clear, consistent boundaries.
* Builds positive relationships and remains supportive during challenging situations.
* Believes in the potential of every child and is committed to helping them achieve success.
* Is reflective, proactive, and eager to continue their professional development.
Desirable Experience
* Experience working with pupils with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs.
* Knowledge of differentiated teaching strategies.
* Experience supporting pupils with complex behavioural, emotional, or educational needs.
* A strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices.
What We Offer
* A rewarding role where you can make a lasting impact on young people's lives.
* A supportive and collaborative staff team.
* Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
* The chance to work in a setting where relationships, wellbeing, and pupil success are at the heart of everything we do
